How to Achieve Superhuman Brain
Practical
Good Sunday yet again, my friend.
Idk if it’s just me, but weeks have been flying by like days lately.
Most of the time I don’t even know what day it is.
With so much sensory input, it’s become so hard to just be aware of things.
I recently started reminding myself of my own death; it helps me to focus on what really matters.
But while we are alive, it’d be a crime not to try and maximize our potential, don’t you think?
That’s why today’s topic is so important.
I’m not gonna beat around the bush and get straight to the sauce.
Your brain is already a weapon, but even the best weapon needs maintenance.
The first and most crucial factor for your brain (and overall intelligence) is the quality of your sleep.
Focus on quality rather than quantity:
Dark & cold room
No phone/pc at least 30 minutes before bed (If necessary, use blue light blockers ON MAXIMUM)
No eating 2 hours before bed
No drinking water 30 minutes before bed
Go to sleep at the same time every day (the most important!)
Natural/artificial sunlight ASAP after waking up
No caffeine 10 hours before bed (that’s how much time it takes for it to dissolve)
These are the basics; if you want to be an advanced sleeper, you can purchase the smart ring that tracks your sleeping quality and stores your data in the app.
If you fix your sleep, you’ll not only develop your brain function but also improve in other areas of life.
The next thing on the list may seem insane.
Sit in a completely dark room with no sound or visuals for 10-15 minutes before work.
This is an extreme version of dopamine detox, but it actually works.
Your brain is gonna crave work afterwards.
The next thing - supplements (my favorite part, yuppie):
100 mg of caffeine
Lion’s Mane mushrooms
L-theanine 200 mg
Take 15-17 MINUTES before work/study/whatever you need your brain for maximum enhancement of performance.
The last, but not the least - sounds.
It’s not enough data-backed, but you can try using 4Hz theta binaural beats.
It may or may not improve your cognitive functioning.
I won’t even include diet here since it’s more personal, but the basics are:
No processed sugar
No excessive fat
No processed foods
Intermittent fasting (NOT FOR EVERYBODY)
Carbs later in the day (if you’re not an athlete/do not exercise in the first half of the day)
That’s all the hacks you need to enhance your brain to the limit.
I’d personally recommend you study the subconscious and go on about understanding the human brain from there.
About the mental aspect, you can read David Goggin’s second book: Never Finished
I hope it’ll help you grow.
Thank you for reading,
